This car drives beautifully. the concessions to modernity being well worthwhile for care free motoring in this modern age. Although the original parts can be refitted and are with the car

MGB MK 1 Roadster. solid 1964 UK car. in British Racing Green Light. Only 64. 00 on clock. backed up by history and MOTs. Unused for a while and stored in my dry garage. nbsp;it still has a current MOT to September 2013 and is tax exempt. Sailed through last few MOTs with no advisories and the car has done virtually no miles since last year so it should be just a formality to get another. The car is tax exempt and runs on unleaded. It is sold with a full history and a from-ground-up restoration by the famous Brooklands Motors with photos and documentation. It also comes with all its old MOTs and decades of tax discs. and service and history bills. British Motor Industry Trust certification and has been maintained by Brooklands Classic Cars. M&G Autos and Henley Autos. all MG Owner Club approved garages.
The Heritage Shell coachwork is generally good with no major rust issues and good panel gaps and the photos give an accurate idea of its condition. On inspection there will be a few age related paint imperfections. it is a 48 year old used car not a concourse museum piece and the price reflects this. The doors and wings are all very good all straight. There are a few touch up marks here and there but no obvious rust issues. The bonnet this has a touch mark on it where I think something must have been dropped on it. the body and chassis were professionally restored in the late nineties by Surrey based MG specialist. The interior is very tidy indeed apart from the white piping on the driver seat. Original leather seats. The soft top frame is now folding rather than pack frame and in excellent condition and the new MG Owners Club Replacement roof last year. Last year I had the wire wheels restored. It also had four new Firestone tyres fitted and four new winged spinners. The chrome work which has been replaced last year also is all correct issue for its year. It has its original number plates. As I was planning on using it this summer it has just had a massive service including new pump. ignition parts. fresh engine oil. brake calliper. etc the list is endless. It is now on the button and the engine runs like a dream and the car handles beautifully. It has been well maintained and has never been any trouble and will be very sorry to see it go. This is a private sale due to lack of use as my mother now has mobility issues and garage space required for more easily accessible car . I can help foreign buyers by liaising with your shipper for collection and providing the car is paid for I am happy for collection within four weeks. Thank you for your interest. my contact number is 07455 400305 (Paul). THE CAR WILL BE ADVERTISED ELSEWHERE SO I RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REMOVE IT AT ANYTIME.
CAN BE VIEWED BY ARRANGEMENT IN LONDON. MAIDENHEAD OR CHELMSFORD
