Cars with pedigrees get us excited here at Streetside Classics. There are some cars where matching numbers are no big deal. but when you're talking about a real-deal 1970 Pontiac GTO Judge with its original 400 cubic inch Ram Air III powerplant. well. that gets more than a few hearts racing. That kind of pedigree also pretty much ensures that the restoration work will be top-notch. because this is unquestionably an investment-grade car.


Orbit Orange is this car's original color. and if you're going to have a high-profile car like a GTO Judge. then why be coy? It's beautifully done. truly show-quality in every way. from the matching of the hue to the original factory samples to the reproduction decals on the fenders. Please take a few extra moments to notice the little things like panel gaps that are not only even. but tighter than factory specs. so this car has a sleek look that inferior cars can't match. Every inch of the sheetmetal was smoothed and sanded before the paint went on and it was all sanded and buffed to a high shine before the decals were installed. so it positively gleams in the sun. The Endura front bumper and rear wing are in excellent condition. and the twin snorkels on the hood for the Ram Air system work as advertised. And yes. that's a hood-mounted tach. one of the coolest options ever.


Fresh black interior upholstery keeps up the show-ready look. and it's complete with bucket seats and a center console. Everything from the woodgrained wheel to the seat belts has been restored. and Pontiac interiors were some of the most functional places to be during the muscle car era. The GTO Judge was an interesting mix of performance and luxury aspirations. so there's woodgrain on the dash and console right alongside the engine-turned panels that were a staple of Pontiac performance for many years. This Goat is also loaded with options. including factory A/C. power windows and locks. ad a rather rare rear defogger setup. New carpets are protected by rubber floor mats. the door panels are neatly trimmed. and the headliner is taut and wrinkle-free. The trunk is correct as well. featuring a reproduction mat and a correct spare tire assembly with jack.


The 400 cubic inch Ram Air III V8 is this car's original. numbers-matching YZ engine and all the major components are date-code correct. There's a comprehensive list of part numbers and date codes that we can supply to interested buyers. and the amount of research and documentation that went into the restoration is quite impressive. The engine is. of course. detailed for show. from the correct Ram Air air cleaner to the Pontiac Turquoise paint to the shiny chrome valve covers. Reproduction blue stripe hoses and tower hose clamps are the kinds of little things that really help when you're looking for points at a show. and experts will note that's an ultra-rare 61-amp alternator. It's equally excellent underneath. with a reproduction exhaust system. TH400 3-speed automatic. and a proper WF-coded 12-bolt rear with 3. 23 gears inside. Dated Rally II wheels are fitted sans trim rings. as original. and wear fresh G70-14 Firestone Wide Oval bias-ply tires for authenticity.

TERMS OF SALE  

1. Per the eBay User Agreement. by placing a bid you are entering into a legally binding contract and are committed to purchasing the vehicle described above. The details of this commitment are further outlined in the eBay User Agreement.

2. Vehicle may be sold by Streetside Classic Cars prior to the end of the auction. Streetside Classic Cars reserves the right to end its auctions early or to cancel bids solely at its discretion and shall not be held liable for any such cancellation.

3. The winning bidder is required to contact Streetside Classic Cars within 24 hours after the close of the auction to finalize the details of the transaction.

4. A $1. 00 non-refundable deposit is required within 48 hours of the auction's close.   This deposit reserves the vehicle and removes it from the market. Acceptable payment types for deposit are: credit card. wire transfer. cashier's check. and money order.

5. If winning bidder does not contact Streetside Classic Cars and submit deposit within 48 hours of auction close. vehicle may be made available to the next highest bidder or another qualified buyer on a first come. first serve basis.

6. Streetside Classic Cars has represented this vehicle to the best of its ability. Prospective bidders are encouraged to contact us directly to provide additional information or answer any questions.

7. Please be aware that all pre-owned vehicles. regardless of age. mileage. or manufacturer are subject to cosmetic wear and mechanical failure. Streetside Classic Cars encourages bidder to have a personal inspection completed prior to delivery to help ensure your satisfaction. Third party inspections are to take place prior to a vehicles shipment or delivery.

8. All vehicles are sold "AS IS" and with no warranties expressed or implied.

9. Final or winning bid price does not include shipping. tax. title. or registration fees. It is the purchaser's responsibility to provide for any state or local taxes and shipping expenses resulting from the sale.

10. We can assist you in delivery through our network of private and commercial carriers. Most of them can deliver the vehicle to your driveway. We assume no responsibility for damages or delays incurred once a vehicle is in a shipper's custody.

11. Streetside Classic Cars bears no liability and shall be held harmless for any complications. expenses. or damages resulting from a failure to meet these terms as they have been set forth and established herein.

12. An additional documentation fee of $199 will be added to the purchase price at the time of sale.
