1971 Gold Cadillac Coup Deville with only 123. 00 miles. Owned by one family since the 1970's. Used as a "Hampton's Cruiser. " Cared for as a "Garage Vehicle " battery plugged into electrical source. New battery bought last June. When inspected. if any problems. we got it fixed right away. My dad loved it and when he died. I brought it up to Quogue NY on a flat bed truck. Trunk big enough to take all your stuff to the beach or go grocery shopping for the fam. Tires rotated and oil carefully monitored. So beautiful. and cared for. One item that needs attention is a small 4/5 inch tear in drivers seat. I think it can be repaired!!
This 1971 Cadillac Coup Deville and I met in the 1970's. in Durham. N. C. where it was the apple of my dad's eye.

He loved driving it because he said it was like riding on a cloud.

And we washed it together and checked the oil. and rubbed it down with wax. and took care of it When he became ill. nothing made him happier than going for a ride afer dinner.

So when he died. I could not just sell it. or abandon it to a used car lot.

So I had it brought up to Quogue NY on a truck. And I think of him every time my son or I drive it. It really has been a "Hamptons Cruiser. owned and loved by one family and it has always been a " Garage Vehicle . " We plugged the battery into an electric socket to keep it fresh and responsive. And when it did need it. we bought a new battery. the most recent time last June. Every time it was inspected. we corrected it right away.

It has a trunk big enough to sleep in. so it is great to take to the beach with all the stuff you need--umbrellas. folding chairs. air mattresses. or whatever.

When I drive down the street. old people from the Cadillac generation wave at me or blow their horns. and when parked at the grocery store. I always find young people peering inside of it.

I have gone to special Cadillac round ups and everyone always admires it.

We even have thought of it as a car with Hollywood potential in movies of a certain era and I feel that way when I drive it . We hope to sell it to someone who will love it asmuch as we did.
