1958 SWB Chevrolet Apache Pick Up for sale

1958 Chevrolet Apache short bed. All taxes paid and registered in the UK. Runs and drives sweet with its 307cu in V8 engine and 3 speed manual gearbox. The previous owner lowered the thing by placing both axles above the leaf springs giving the great low rider look. however the ground clearance is minimal. It needs some bodywork repairs in all the usual places (see photos) and the wooden bed is in need of complete replacement but there is a large plate of metal in its place. The chassis has light surface rust only but would clean up fine. The windscreen is cracked and the brakes have a good pedal but will be in need of attention soon as does the bonnet latch. Most of the electrics work fine including the wipers and heater. The speedo is stuck at 40mph. Tyres are about 4mm. You could drive it away but it will take all your concentration to keep it straight over the bumps so I would recommend a trailer.

Drive as is or restore it to its former glory. its your choice. It probably looks better in the photos than it really is but I've tried to be accurate in the description to avoid any disappointments.
