Original Honda Crx Challenge car as prepared by Honda themselves for the one make racing series back in the late eighties. It has a complete and very strong roll cage. nbsp; brake bias operated by a lever next to the drivers seat and a large fire extinguisher.   Full harness safety belts are also installed.

It  has the 1. 6 engine which is  very quick so presumably was breathed on by Honda at the time.   Starts on the button. pulls like a train and the gearshift is one of the sweetest I have experienced.

The car has no rust whatsoever as it has never been registered or used on the road. The odometer reads 18000  so if that's the true  then its a tribute to Honda engineering because they've all been done on

racetracks.   New Brake calipers and pads fitted recently.

 Its no concourse car  and has been well used over the years  as the dents and marks testify. but she is still going really strong and will be great fun for the new owner.  

I will be sad to see her go but ive only managed two airfield days in the past eight years and  now  that  Im approaching retirement  I suspect that they were my last.  I prefer the Nsx these days . much more comfy!

Hi Pete did this car sell or did it happen to be split for parts ?

Reason I’m asking I’ve acquired a crx challenge rollcage and don’t know if it’s the one in your vehicle or not but it’s literally identilcal

If this happens to be your rollvage that has passed on threw time do you have the certification for the rollcage you can email me ?
