Between 1949 and 1951 Dodge made less than 5000 Wayfarer roadsters Originally aimed at the low price market the early 1949 roadsters had only a single bench seat and side curtains instead of roll up windows. This is one of approx 400 early cars  made with full side curtains. . A beautiful and unusual car in stock form this one has been  tastefully updated to retain the stock look while being a modern driving car. It has with a built slant six motor. triple side draft carbs. nbsp;electric fuel pump with crash shut off. Isky cam. hrysler parallel A. B body  torsion front suspension.  with large torsion bars. :10 rear end . hrysler A 833 OD trans. 11 3/4 " disc brakes with 11" finned HD station wagon drums on the rear. all new wiring with blade fuses. 100 amp alternator KYB gas  shocks. large  front and rear sway bars. Barracuda S power steering box. ertronix ignition. custom individual cast headers with inside and outside ceramic coating. custom aluminum heat shields.  2/12" dual exhaust with flow master type mufflers. are Offenhauser finned aluminum valve cover plus lots of aluminum and powder coated  eye candy . ide white radial tires on  black powder coated 6" and 7" wheels with baby moons. The original radio has been converted to digital AM/FM  including the  MP3 format. so you can plug in your cell  phone or other mobile  device and listen to your favorite tunes as you cruise down the road. The update was done 7500 miles ago with all new or rebuilt parts on drive train. suspension. steering and electrical and brakes.  I have driven it everywhere and it has always been reliable and big FUN. It easily travels at freeway speeds. has great usable power . s very easy to maintain and is cheap to run . It is a fantastic people magnet and I often get inquiries to use the car for photo opps The body and paint are in  good condition as are the interior top and side curtains. It  isn't a trailer queen as it has been driven regularly since  built. The paint is older and in great condition. It does have some rock  chips but still shows nice. It is ready to DRIVE HOME to enjoy summer fun without any mechanical. electrical or suspension work needed. Some minor cosmetic detailing will elevate this car to super star status.   Clear OR title
