Show Winner

This beautiful 1955 Buick was purchased with the intention of showing it this up-coming car show season. but it doesn't appear myself or my family will be showing this one as much as we would like.   Therefore. I would like to give someone else an opportunity to own this car great car.

These cars are known by many as the 'Hot Rod' Buick. as it has the same wheelbase and body as the lower-priced Special series. but with added trim. amenities. and the higher horsepower Roadmaster engine (signified by the fourth "port hole" on the side) .  The model name came about with Buick's first 1936 Century model. named for its ability to cruise 100 mph.  

This car always draws a crowd at the shows & cruise-ins. gets long stares on the road. and long conversations at the gas pump!  This will be a good investment and a fun car for the next owner.  Should win a trophy at all of your local car shows ; )

Details/Features:

This Buick was treated to a light cosmetic restoration a few years back. but had a complete mechanical restoration about 3 years ago.  It was an original survivor for many years.  Had only two owners between 1955-2011 .  There is a lot of good looking original chrome. great body. etc.  The paint job looks very good from any respectable distance and the underside of the car is nice as well.  There may be a few driving chips/polishing scratches/flaws due to age/driving. but as you can see. it looks great.  The interior is beautiful and has almost no evidence of age/wear at all.  Lots more money spent on this car than the reserve price.  

The engine idles very well. makes great power. and starts easy every time (also sounds great!).  The transmission also operates well.  The car gets down the road and will flow with modern traffic effortlessly.  All the gauges. lights. and horn work.  Everything works.  Clock and radio too!  It drives about as close to a brand new one as you will find.  Overall. it's a sharp looking and driving Buick and you'd be hard pressed to find another one like it!
