I Have owned this car for around 3 years and have enjoyed taking it to car shows where it receives very favourable comments. Many people comment on the unusual colour and how well it suits the vehicle.
During my ownership I have spend time and money on getting the old girl back to show condition.
The automatic choke was replaced as was the automatic gearbox sump. The rear under bumper valance. both sills and all four wheel arches were replaced before the car went for a professional full respray.
The car was then treated to 4 new tyres. This car is a 4. 2 Litre SWB which is a far rarer model than the LWB.
Inside the car is all original with a good headlining. If I were to be hyper critical I suppose the dashboard could do with a slight repair where the lacquer is starting to crack.
I have a good history file with most. if not all previous MOT certificates. Also I have a heritage certificate for the vehicle which confirms it was a 1973 build. first registered 1974. With the change in this years budget the vehicle now enjoys FREE Historic tax. "Just my luck as previously I have had to pay for it"  :-(
The reason I am selling is that I am getting older (a young 67) and just cant lay underneath cars anymore like I once could. From now on I will enjoy the shows as a passenger in my friends classic.
The car comes complete with a full 12 months MOT.
