For Sale - 1973 Lancia Beta Series 1 1600 Saloon having covered just 36. 00 miles with a huge file of history including the original bill of sale and old MOTs.
I am regrettably selling this unique and original car in order to fund the restoration of several of my other cars.
This 40 year old Beta is completely original and has never been welded or restored. although has probably had a little bit of paint during its long life. The interior is near immaculate. nbsp;as it would have left the showroom and the exterior paintwork still shines and has a patina which would show up a much younger car!
It has recently had a complete carburettor overhaul and all valve clearances re-shimmed to the original factory settings at a cost of nearly £700. It really does fly along. quite happily keeping up with modern traffic.
Very possibly the only Series 1 1600 beta saloon currently on the road in the UK - you certainly wont see another one on the road or at car shows. This Beta has featured over the past few years in many of the glossy classic car magazines and been displayed at the National Classic Motor Show.
