Dodge was America's eighth largest automaker in 1950 and had a reputation of reliability and value. The 1950 Dodges were very appealing to conservative car buyers. With desirable design lines. the 1950 Dodge was practical and had very few moving parts.

The Wayfarer is a very desirable classic collector car. Only 2. 03 Sportabouts were produced in 1950. It was touted “the sportiest car on the highway” with an engine that was “a big get-away engine power packed with plenty of zoom. ”

This 1950 Dodge Wayfarer Sportabout has all the components that make this car desirable. It is original. authentic. and documented. Out of an estate. this Wayfarer has only 62. 00 original miles.   The current owner is the 3rd owner since the car was new.

The exterior is Cadet Red and is the original paint. Body and paint are in excellent condition for its age. This car still presents very well. Chrome and bright work is in very good condition. Fender skirts give the period look of the 1950's that added grace and elegance. The convertible top is tan and is in great shape with no stains. rips or tears.

Interior is also Cadet Red. Seats are in great condition with no rips or tears. Paint on the dash is still sharp. All interior components are original and in very good condition.

Engine is the original 6 cylinder 230 cid with 103 hp and is paired with the Gyro-Matic fluid drive semi automatic transmission.

This car runs and drives with amazing performance.

Documentation comes with the original Purchase Order and all warranty documents.
