The car is a tribute to Bob tulius. Herb Adams and Carrol Shelby.
This build started from an idea of WHAT IF racers had some our current technology COYBILT decided to throw a road race twist on a 1965 GTO.
The body sits on a Roadster Shop chassis with the IRS option.
The engine is a 408 cubic inch LSX. dual throttle bodied with twin PAXTON superchargers
The transmission is a T56 magnum six speed and Wilwood 6 piston narrow super lite calipers on 14 inch two piece rotors
Now you can see with these basic components the car is into the super car territory. The body is being massaged but left stock appearing mostly except for weight reduction throughout.
A 12 point roll cage is not only for safety but to promote the vintage race theme the car is aimed after.
The interior will represent just two seats in the front and the rear seat will be deleted for weight reduction.
Sitting in that front seat you will notice a Stewart Warner gauges in the factory cluster housing. The gauges are a custom built unit from the team at Classic Instruments.
The wheels are a custom one off units designed and made by Rushforth wheels. They look like a 1963 Corvette Grand Sport wheel with functional knock off centers. The wheel size is a 18x8 front and 19x12. 5 in the rear. The wheels are covered in a set of Pirelli Pzero Corsas 265/45/18 and 345/35/19
This is the overall view of the GTO. Thousands of details can be left to the discretion of the new owner. If you've ever wanted a one of kind car with SEMA presence that can handle a road race track or an Optima event this could be your new car.

There are two renderings of the vehicle one is with Mini lite wheels one is with the current Grand Sports wheels.
