Panther Solo
Model Solo late, as was to be released in 1985, but Toyota presented its model MR2 and this model was detained until 1989, when made a new, more comprehensive chassis and combined with all-wheel drive. Steel bottom of podsoedinyalos to the front and rear sub frame, the body was made from composite materials. In the front of the vehicle was used MacPherson suspension, while in the rear - dvuhrychazhnaya with transverse links, which helped the passage of the turns. The model was set the same engine Cosworth, which was developed for the Sierra, although in Panther it was raised for the driver. In front of the mechanism was reechnoy transmission, brakes were a 254 mm discs with anti-lock braking system. The model had a good performance, but apparently not looked quite convincing and after it was released 26 cars. Panther ceded the tough competition and the production was stopped in 1990.
