Skoda 1101 OHC
Model Skoda 1101 OHC sports car, made in 1957-1960 year Czechoslovak company Skoda Auto in the amount of five pieces. Three of them were made in the model of the body "spider", and two - in the model of the "coupe". The car body is made entirely of aluminium and fibreglass.
Engine, developed on the basis of engine Š.440 had two carburetor and modified the camshaft. The volume of the four-stroke engine Skoda 1101 OHC was 1089 cubes. The model was introduced the system of water cooling of the engine. Motor power Skoda 1101 OHC was equal to 95 horsepower, which allowed the car to develop speed of 226 km/hour. 5-speed automatic gearbox is another "innovation" models of the company.
Interestingly, Skoda 1101 OHC repeatedly won the European auto racing back in 1958, however, by the early 1960 appeared model, more perfect, therefore, the management of the company adopted a decision to withdraw Roadster with production.
