Lincoln EL-series
Lincoln EL-series is the cars of a class Lux, produced by the American company Lincoln in the period from 1949 through 1951-th year.
The first post-war luxury cars were presented to the public on April 22, 1948. They had a more streamlined features of housing than their predecessors, such as a series of Lincoln H-series. However, a new windshield, divided into 2 parts, it seemed a little inappropriate to the overall modern design of the car. From a distance of Lincoln EL-series was difficult to virtually indistinguishable from the car Mercury Eight. Flush-mounted with a shining the hood lights were a characteristic feature of the car model Lincoln EL-series.
In 1950 standard external design of luxury cars EL-series was supplemented with a new horizontal bars in front of the shell. The name of the car was located, as before, on the front side of the machine, but now the letters have a greater size. In the same year, the production line was added a new body Lido-coupe with vinyl and traditional inner cabin. Lincoln EL-series produced also with bodies sedan, convertible and easy coupe.
