Model Subaru 360 is the first car series Subaru, issued by the Japanese company Fuji Heavy Industries in 1958. At that time very few of the people of Japan could buy a car, so the manufacturer to set the task on creation of the "people's car", the volume of the engine of which does not exceed the 360 cubic meters.
