FIAT 124 ST RESTORATION PROJECT

You are bidding on a very rare FIAT 124 ST this is an original ST and was imported into the uk in 1977 and the log book states ST. nbsp;the car is a 1608cc with a fiat 131 manual gearbox the car starts and drives however does not have MOT or TAX. (sorn) i am classing the car as restoration / spares or repairs due to this. it has been owned by myself for over 4 years and has been dry stored it has no rust and no welding required as this is a very very solid car.
The car just really needs finishing off and will make a real rare head turner for those special Fiat shows. How many left is only showing 4 in the uk?
The car comes with a massive history file with loads receipts of new original parts. and also comes with around 5 stacker crates of parts. it also has all the repair manuals and a whole file an inch thick of magazines old photos and the original sedan instruction book / Safe motoring hints booklet / Instruction booklet  and 4 different vintage mint sales brochures.
I have old Mot's from 1992 up until 2004 and i think this may have been the last time the car was mot'd.

Goods points:- A1 Great paint and bodywork. (The car is orange with all trim in black) The underside is very very good and requires no welding. the car also has a bill for £1153. 50 from Italian Race Services in Basildon for new outer sills both sides / all jacking points replaced and repairs too / 2 new floor sections replaced / Centre sills replaced / out-riggers replaced / all enclosed areas liquid waxed / all outer panels under sealed (under the vehicle) interior is in great condition with no damage to any of the seats. The car has a stamped and dated webasto roof that has been fully restored all refurbished alloys and new tyres new full exhaust rear wheel drive. and advised my garage that the car has a slip diff. new calipers and pads and discs ( this car has disc brakes all around) Up rated radiator from a fiat 131 2. 0ltr new master cylinder and servo new starter motor new clutch and bearing 4 x new old stock head lights from italy all new old stock complete unit side lights from italy new plugs points fuel filter ht leads rotor arm air filter. new exhaust manifold Brand new solex carb Has 1970s new locking wheel nuts (key version) original front screen with new rubbers ( the car also comes with brand new old stock spare front screen) cam timing belt replaced  new old stock 1970s front spot lamps new door rubbers all new brake pipes and hoses all steering bushes and springs and shocks. full stamped fiat tool kit in plastic box New rear window rubbers. Engine rebuild top end. new centre steering rod slightly lowered springs. has the vintage radios with it and very rare centre consul the car also comes with a fiat logo car cover and has a fiat blue vintage wing cover for when engine maintenance it done. has all keys including the original white and black fiat logo keys
Also i have around 5 stacker boxes full of parts and fiat special t related parts also i have a job lot of brand new Fiat 124 special T side light indicator units and lenses purchased from an old dealership possible 10 + sets (estimated)

Jobs that need completing brakes need bleeding hand brake cable needs fitting (supplied) Both front window winders Mecs require fitting ( both new parts supplied purchased from Italy) Plastic trim required to fill front and rear new window rubbers engine could do with a good tune and set up due to storage. one or two of the painted trim ie door handles may need touching up. headlights need wiring along with new spot lights.
As you can see not really much to do. however i have only just looked over the car and these are the known jobs to do when the car was handed down to me.

I started the car today and drove it out of the storage facility. selling due to other car commitments and no space left.
