1938 MG TA Midget. CHARMING OLDER RESTORATION. nbsp;RARE PRE-WAR SPORTS CAR!

The Old Oregon Motor Company presents:

1938 MG TA Midget.   Red/Black.   This MG was restored/rebuilt in England in the years following World War II.   They obviously used the best of what they had to work with in those lean post-war years. so the result is a car with non-matching body. chassis. and engine numbers.   The components are all proper TA items. with a correctly coded TA motor (MPJG).   The car has not been restored since that time. and shows a charming patina throughout.   Canvas top works well.   The car was imported into the US in the 1950's and purchased by a 16-year-old girl as her first car.   She owned the car for the next 55 years. and only covered a couple thousand miles in all that time.   The wood structure is in very good shape. and the car runs and drives very well.   Non-syncro first and second gears.   Keeps up well with modern traffic and can be driven on the freeway.   Brakes are in fine condition and the car stops quite well.   A few spares including an all-important wiring harness.   With a little over 3000 built. the MG TA Midget is considered to be the very first mass-produced sports car.   Own a fun piece of history today!
