1937 Plymouth Mopar Powered Classic Hot Rod

This is a professionally built classic hot rod. with a 383 big block Mopar motor. This is a 1937 Plymouth Hot Rod 2-door Business Coupe which was completely rebuilt in late 2005. The car is in perfect condition and is ready to take to the next car show.

This is real 1937 Plymouth Business Coupe with a high performance Mopar 383 big block motor. These days. when you go to a Hot Rod show it seems like over 90% of the cars are powered by Chevy small block motors. regardless of whether it is a Chevy. Ford or Plymouth.

The high performance 383 big block Mopar was also rebuilt in 2005 and includes Edelbrock Performer RPM aluminum cylinder heads. Edelbrock Performer intake. Keith Black hypereutectic flat top pistons made from 390 alloy. high performance Summit Cams. Crane Gold Race rocker arms. and Crane chromemoly pushrods. The motor has an aggressive rumble. but it is not so loud that it becomes bothersome on long rides. The motor always starts easily. runs smoothly. and never runs hot. even on the hottest summer days.

You can travel in comfort in this car. This car has air conditioning. heat. defrost. power windows. power steering. and Alpine AM/FM/CD in-dash with automatic power antenna and 4-speakers.

The interior was been completely redone from the headliner to the carpeting. including all new classic style gauges. Car was completed dyno matted to reduce road noise and heat from the motor.

The windshield crank still works so you can tilt out the front windshield.

All the exterior chrome parts have been powder coated black. Front and rear bumpers have been removed.

This car is a very dependable and comfortable car. It could be driven across the country with no worries.

The A/C blows ice cold and the heater works. All lights work including the turn signals. Front turn signals are integrated into the headlights.

You know that this is a driver's car because it has 26. 00 miles on the odometer.

The car will easily smoke the tires.

This car has a nice classic rake to it (the rear sits up higher than the front).

This is a well documented car with all the receipts. I have stack of receipts that are over two inches thick.

I also have a 3 ring binder with pictures of the engine and car build from the ground up.

This is a professionally built hot rod - it is not a home-built car.

FREE SHIPPING WITHIN 2000 MILES OF 98294 WITH BIN!! (buy it now)

This option will disappear when my low reserve has been met so bid with this in mind.

Please review everything posted and ask questions before bidding. I have lots more pics and will send more on request.

The only issues with this classic street rod are very minor

The fuel gauge just recently stopped working. Loose wire I'm sure. 1"-2" play in steering wheel. An alignment will fix. Tracks straight and does not pull.

There are the typical very small road chips in the front leading fenders. You really have to look to find them. Hey. I buy em to drive!

I really don't want to sell this street machine but heath insurance and health issues are taking a priority.

I have a fair reserve and once that has been met the free shipping will disappear.

Of course all funds must clear my bank before car and title are released. NO PAY PAL!

Hey bidders. nbsp;got a bit of additional info for you.

I added a few more pics and the trunk pic show the fuel cell and the top lid that snaps over the fuel cell (custom for sure)

There are also air ride shocks in the rear that have the filler needle valves in the trunk deck at he outside edge. I have never used them. the ride was  perfect for me.

There is included with the car a beautiful custom made car cover that's embroidered with "37" at the front.   ($400 item)

I also added a new high torque. gear reduction starter to turn over this higher compression motor when it's hot.

The stock new starter was fine when it was cold. but after driving when engine was all warmed up. it didn't have the torque.

Also. in the interest of moving this street rod I have lowered the starting. reserve and "Buy It Now" prices.

Thanks! good luck and bid fast and furious!
