1941 REAL STEEL NOSTALGIA WILLYS COUPE GASSER RAT HOT ROD WITH BLOWN 548 BBC

I am going to try this one last time berfore i pull the Supercharged 850 Hors Power motor out of the car.

THE WILLYS COUPE IS ONE OF THE MOST SOUGHT AFTER CARS IN THE HOT ROD WORLD.   IT IS ALSO ONE OF THE MOST COPIED AND RECREATED. DON'T MISS YOUR CHANCE TO PURCHASE ONE OF THESE REAL ICONIC MACHINES.

Here is the deal. I just bought another all steel Willys-gasser style. I never would have thought i would be putting this car up for sale but one has to go. I have owned this car for over 3 years. I would really like to sell this car and keep my gasser because I was intending on putting a straight axle on this one. My intentions are to keep my new one and sell this Willys. This is not a fire sale. so please don't bother with any LowBAll offers. I can wait to find the right buyer.   My Buy It Now is pretty much close to what I have in it.   I know I don't want to take a loss on this car.   These STEEL cars do not come up for sale often. The car has a clear Illinois title in my name as a 1941 Willys.

THIS IS A REAL VINTAGE STEEL BODY AND FRAME WILLYS. THIS IS NOT LIKE THE MAJORITY WILLY'S OUT THERE LISTED ON EBAY WHICH ARE REPRODUCTION KIT CARS. IF YOU WANT TO BUY AN INVESTMENT THAT WILL GO UP IN VALUE AND NOT DOWN. YOU NEED TO BUY REAL 70+ YEAR OLD STEEL. THIS IS THE REAL DEAL AND PRICED AS SUCH.

The Body and doors are real steel. Flip glass front end. glass rear fenders and deck lid. Car has some scratches and paint chips on glass nose. I was planning on doing a re-paint on the Glass Front End. You cans see slightly in the sunlight that the color is a shade off. There are some scratches on the doors also. The body on this car is very nice and straight. It has an original Willys Dash in it. Car has power windows. nbsp;trunk release. nbsp;Removable Polished Alum. Trans Tunnel.  Needs carpet. Full guages.  Car has a 8. 50 roll cage not certified but should pass. done well. Removable Steering Wheel for easy entrance. Hurst Quarter stick. line lock. electr. Fuel pump with all braided lines. Ford 9” rear with a 4 Link. 4. 11 gears. Nostalgia wheels on the car with 31 X 16. 5 X 15 Street slicks on the back. A Bigger tire could fit on it. Original boxed frame back halved. Car is Mini Tubbed. Front disc brakes. Aerospace Discs on back. HeidtsTubular control arms. Coil overs all 4 corners. Alum Radiator with Dual Elec. Fans. Dual batteries. fuel cell. has lights. street legal. Fresh pump gas 548 Blown Big Block Chevy motor producing 850 H. P and 875 Lbs of torque. I have dyno sheets. This is pushing inder 10 lbs. of boost.   Put some different pulleys on it to put it over 1. 00 H. P.  671 Littlefield blower. 850 Blower Carbs. rane Hydr. Roller Cam. . Edelbrock Alum Heads. Custome built 2 1/4 Headers. wrapped which go into a stainless 5" Exhaust out the side. Car sounds awesome. Motor has less than 20 passes at the track and around the block a few times at home. This motor was completed in Oct. 2011. The builder started with a brand new Dart Block when my motor was put together. New valves and springs were also installed. The transmission is a fresh Powerglide with a Dedenbear bellhousing. Has a brand new $1000- Coan converter custom set up to this cars specifications. The converter has only 5 runs at the track.

The car has turned a best time of 10. 50 ¼ mile at 125 mph. There is more to go. First. I am a little timid about coming off the line with the wheels in the air so I have not come off full throttle. I am backing off at the top end about ¾ down the track because I got to high of a gear and I don't want to Rev. the motor over 6. 00 RPM. This should run 9's with a little tweeking and possibly a gear change in the rearend!!!! The Car goes down the track very nice and straight.  This is a very cool Street/Strip car. My intentions were to run it in a bunch of Nostalgia events. It has seen a couple in 2012. big Crowd Pleaser.

I have a bunch of new and old pictures. There are a couple items which are different then the pictures. There is no Nitrous bottle in the trunk anymore. That was for a different motor that was in the car when I bought it. The car comes with the slicks as stated above-Not the Pie Crust Cheater slicks that are in some of my pictures. The car does not come with the various stacks or scoops in the pitcures. I do have some Holley air cleaners we can put on.

I would also like to mention another option I would be willing to sell the car.  I will knock off $12. 00- off the price if I keep the blower motor and transmission in the car and install a 427 Big block Chevy with Edelbrock Alum. heads a solid roller cam and a Tunnel Ram with Duel Holleys on it. I will change the ignition set up also.  I have another Powerglide with a Trans. Brake and a converter. This motor is currently in my other Willys and is appox. 500 H. P. The transmission is what came with the car when I bought it and will work great for this other motor. If you would take this option I would need 3-4 weekends to swap out motors and get the car ready since I work full time.   I would also sell as a roller with no eng. or trans and knock of $17. 00- off the price.   I would just need the non-refundable deposit on these options to get started.
