A hard to find vehicle. let alone in this rust free state. It starts right up. drives. stops and steers. Headlights and taillights work as does the horn and gauges.

Always been in the dry southern California desert since new. meaning a very solid body! Original owner passed away in 2003 and left the truck to his brother who has driven the truck at least once a week until two months ago. when he had a stroke and can no longer drive it (86 years old). 56k original miles. probably the only Willys pickup in existence that is only one family owned. and rust free from the dry southern California desert climate since new.  

This truck is truly a collectible and a very easy restoration. Runs. drives. stops. and steers! Headlights and tail lights work. No modifications like most. no engine conversions. lifts. or butchering. It is as close as you can get to original. All original body panels to my knowledge. No repaints or filler. Only primed where original paint wore through. Everything shown is included. and even the horn and gauges work. New battery. Valve job done at 49K miles in 1997. muffler replaced in 2000. It starts up right away and does not want to sit!! 4 wheel drive works too. Transmission shift smooth and does not grind in any gear!! The "Hurricane" engine runs very nice! These trucks were the originator of 4 wheel drives and can do what ever you want!!

Please don't expect to drive this across country due to the fact that it hasn't been driven for long periods of time in over 30 years. Oil and filter changed yearly or every 3K miles since new. All other fluids done before needed since new. This truck has NEVER sat for more than a month in 60 years undriven. it has always been started. brought up to operating temperature. and driven since new at least once a month since day 1! Radiator does leak after about 10 minutes of driving and should be re-cored. but appears original to the truck. Easy restoration will make this truck worth $25K+ which many bring. let alone a one family owned history that is all original. Original colors were red and green. primer applied when paint was worn through. Always stored indoors since new. All chrome looks really nice for being 60 years old. I honestly have never seen chrome even 20 years old that is this nice. please look at all the 72 pictures in detail. this is a solid. all there truck!! You can do with it what you choose. but I feel it would be sacralidge  to butcher this truck like the few remaining others have been. it is so rare to see one all original. right down to the 6 volt. air bath air cleaner. transmission . transfer case. front and rear differentials. and interior. Even the heater and gauges are all there!!
