Classic Mini 30 Freshly Restored With MOT

This Classic Mini "30th Anniversary Edition" that is just fresh out of the paint/body shop.

I bought the car on the day that it was MOT'd (3rd of November 2013) had it delivered to my home address where it was stripped down in my workshop ready for the body shop. The only reason for a trip to the body shop was for a fresh lick of paint. The body on this Mini is absolutely 100% rust & rot free! I am an avid mini enthusiast & buying the correct car as a project is key for me!

All internal & external parts have been removed. stripped. cleaned & polished as have every nook and cranny to my particular standard. which is very high!

The paint shop have achieved a beautiful finish which appears as if you are looking into the mirror.   

All external bright work has come up beautiful. again like mirrors. All screws & bolts retaining the brightwork & trim have been replaced for new.

All window seals have been replaced for new. as have the sill and gutter trims.  

The rear fog light has been rewired and fitted within the o/s/r reverse light cluster.  

The interior has come out looking fabulous for a car of 25 years. The leather has cleaned up very nicely & treated with a conditioner. The fabric has cleaned up well & looking great.

When the car was purchased it had a slight rumbling from the water pump. This has been replaced along with the thermostat. radiator & the all important bypass hose (NOT replaced with the cheap nasty concertina type)

A full service has been carried out. spark plugs. points. oil & filter change & brake fluid change. nipples greased.

The engine runs & does not appear to have any issues. but if I was keeping this car for myself. i would run it down to the local rolling road for a tune up & set up.

The Mini has Koni Adjustable shocks & hilo's fitted to the rear. standard at the front.

Front and rear subframes in great. solid condition.

Mot runs out in November 2014.

The alloys are original for the model but have been painted black (by the previous owner). Fitted with locking wheel nuts.

I have not fitted any external decals as i feel that this might deter from the finish of the paintwork. However decals are included in the sale for the new owner to decide.

The mileage on this mini is reading 13. 11. As to whether this is correct I am unsure.  I feel that. purely in my opinion that the mileage is correct (purely my opinion & may hold no truth). It has only covered 1. 25 miles since 2009. It has only had 4 previous owners.

In conclusion. this is a fantastic looking mini & would be a real asset to the next owner as these awesome little cars are only rising in value.

Profits made from this sale will be divided between a number of charities & good causes.

It will be a shame to see this go. this car is fab & when viewed in person looks better than in the pictures.
