1960 Morris Classic Mini 1st year USA Import Left Hand Drive Austin Cooper 850

Relisting due to a buyer that did not follow through with transaction last week.

Up for sale is my 1960 Morris Mini project. same body style as an Austin Mini Cooper. Second year of production. first year of USA import. left hand USA drive. Hard to find early MK1 car. with cool early features. Center binnacle. riveted wheels. sliding door glass. external hinges. etc. Restoration has been started. Body work was completed about 10 years ago. Paint is nice. but not perfect.   Few scratches and scuffs here and there.   Final cut and buff was never done. so most should come out when this is preformed.   There are a few spots where there must have been a little rust under body work that have slightly bubbled. but these spots are still solid and I do not think they would need any attention for some time. again. its been 10 years plus and they have only showed up very small.   Floor pans have had some repair in the past. from the inside. you cannot even tell. it was a good job.   You can only tell if you go under it.   There is a little rust inside the rear of the front fender wells.   Needs full restoration finished. Originally an Arizona car (read interior and rubber toasted) and has been off the road for probably 25+ years. 850cc motor (turns smoothly and I have oiled the cylinders recently for protection). spare gear boxes. and all parts in bins included in sale. I do not know exactly what is missing to complete restoration. but most of it looks to be there (I do know there is no wiring-Previous owner said it was toast and chucked it).   I have not preformed any of the work. this is exacly how I purchased it a year ago.   I would love to work on this but I just do not have the time.   My eyes were bigger than my ambitions on this one. so I want it to go to a good home that will actually finish putting it together the way it deserves. I have the door not pictured. This is a solid start to a fun little car. There has been quite a stir for this little Mini and I have been answering many questions so I am adding to the ad.   Many people want to know what exactly is there and not.   Again. this is the only Mini I have ever owned. and I have not done any work to it except clean up the front wheels to try and make them seal better.   They were rusted around the beads so they leaked air quickly. not they last a week or so.   I bead blasted them and did a rattle can silver paint job.   They hold air for a week or so now.   The tires are in poor shape.   I have spend the time last night and did a catalog on the parts in the bins I have and while I do not know exactly what everything is. I have a strong grasp on cars in general so am able to tell what most parts are.

Things I have noticed are not there from taking inventory. but again. not exact to only things missing. just things I have noticed:
1 turn signal and base assembly. 1 head light assembly. 1 windshield wiper.   As stated Arizona car so most soft materials were tossed on diss assembly.   Window gaskets. carpet. soft interior goods etc.   No keys that I saw. No Wiring. No Emblems.
