1964 FIAT 600D with Autobianchi A112 Engine for sale
Current customer rating: (542 votes ) based onThe body is in very good condition. All rust has been cut out and replaced with new metal. I made the front fender flares. and chin spoiler. The rear fenders are also flared but only slightly. The front body panel was also cut to allow air flow into the front mounted FIAT 124 radiator and a nice aftermarket FIAT 600 grill was added. I have all the glass. and a good amount of trim. I have the front bumper but no rear. The interior is missing. but I do have a couple sets of bucket seats. one from an X1/9. and another set of racing type buckets. No back seat. The steering wheel is from a FIAT 131 Abarth. I have a few other cool odds and ins for the interior that would be included (see picture).
For power I have an Autobianchi A112 Abarth engine. This engine came from the factory with 70 horsepower and will move a 600 very quickly. There is a Weber 36DCD carb mounted to it as well as an Abarth style exhaust. The engine will run. it just needs some TLC to get it going. Very basic stuff. Everything is there and it turns over. As I said the radiator is mounted in the front and is originally from a FIAT 124 Coupe. I have 1 inch copper tubes running under the car to get the coolant to the engine and back again. The original 600D 4 speed gearbox is there. These are the ones that everyone wants and are very hard to find.
For suspension I have Koni shocks all the way around with Abarth style drop eyelet leaf spring in the front. and Abarth type lowered coils in the rear. I also have FIAT 850 front spindles with drop eyelets up front as well as the disc brakes from it too. The wheels are Cromodora CD91s from an X1/9. and the tires are Yokohama AVSs. Yes AVSs. and they are brand new. never driven on.
This is a great car and I would like to see it go to a good home. I am sure that I have forgotten a lot. so if you have any serious questions please send them my way.
This is an AS IS sale and there is no warranty given or implied.
I will not ship the car anywhere. the buyer will be 100% responsible for any shipping arrangements and charges. Panyment due in full within 10 days of the end of the auction. I will only accept cash in person. a bank issued cashiers check. or a bank wire transfer. Extra time may be needed for these funds to clear.
