Welcome to streetdreamstexas online auction.   We are celebrating our 15 years in the classic car and collectible business.   We strongly feel that investing in a classic car is still one of the safest and definately the most fun place to have your money stored.   By the late sixties. Trans Am racing was almost as popular as NASCAR! Fans flocked to the tracks to see Camaro. Javelin. Challenger. and Mustang models duke it out on the twisty road courses around the country. It was a very exciting time because these car were not just straight line brawlers like their Muscle Car big brothers. With that attention and the Detroit desire to win on Sunday an sell on Monday. all the manufactures had special editions to celebrate the T/A series. None were more popular than the legendary Boss 302 Mustangs. They won a ton of races and the hearts of every Mustang fan. This Marti report certified offering is quite a rare car. Mainly for the one of 165 units built with this Pastel Blue paint and black interior. (see image 24 for more details). This car is quite nice and in terms of a Boss 302. it has it all! Stripes. spoilers. slats. Magnum 500 wheels. black out treatments. and of course the Shaker hood scoop. This car is a factory Shaker car. It was not added later like most Mustangs you see. The body is nice and the paint is not very old so it shows very well. Most Boss models came with standard interior with high back bucket seats. dual cockpit design with padded dash. carpet. and Corinthian Vinyl fabrics. This car has an optional console with a Hurst T-handle shifter. updated CD stereo. fold down rear seat. and a Sun Pro aftermarket tachometer. The 302 V-8 is a great looking motor but the way it runs is were the reputation comes from. If you have never driven a Boss 302 let me tell you. it is a real treat. It pulls hard and is a blast going through the gears. It feels more like a big block that does not plow through the turns when you drive it. The handling of this particular car is excellent. Even though it has power steering. with the radial tires. it does not hunt grooves in the road and gives you a confident feeling behind the wheel. I cannot say that about every Mustang I have driven. This is an overall great car that is very collectible. fun to show. drive. and enjoy. It would make an excellent addition to any collection or that lone empty space in the garage.
