This truck is an A/Gasser that has racing history of over 50 years. It has finally been re-acquired by the original owner/builder after 50 years! It has a 475 CI fuel injected Olds engine built by Jack Merkel in the early 1060's. The transmission is a rare hydro stick with a Hurst Lightning Hydro Gate shifter built by Vitar Transmissions out of Jack Merkel's shop. The truck has a cal/custom fiberglass front end and extra fiberglass doors. The body. doors and bed are all steel. It has original Halibrand magnesium wheels - 16x10 with Goodyear Bluestreak slics. The front Halibrand mags are 4. 5 x 15 with original Pirelli tires. All tires and rims are original to the truck from 50 years ago.
