Up for sale due to now having a house to renovate is my Fully restored GPO Moggie Van.

This is a lovely example of what is. a very rare commercial vehicle. it drives really nicely and always turns heads.
I have taken the Van to a couple of shows while I've owned it and its always very popular and a good conversation starter.
Having owned this vehicle for just over two years i'll be sad to see it go. but have now decided its time to let it go for someone else to give it the love and attention that it deserves and. that i know I wont have time to give in the foreseeable future.

I purchased the vehicle "As is" and have done very little to it while Ive owned it. I have only covered 249 miles in it between MOT's. I believe the vehicle was restored about 3. 5 years ago. The Van is currently MOT'd until September 2014 and is taxed until then too. I replaced all the wheel Cylinders. brake shoes and brake seals/gators for this MOT as two of the Cylinders were seized.

The Moggie is in very good condition inside and out. comes complete with the ladders. ladder rack and advertising boards.
Rear body and doors are all in very good. corrosion free condition as is the chassis. The seats appear to have been reupholstered during the restoration and are very tidy. it's also had new black carpets fitted.
The exterior of the Van has had a very nice. professional respray. it polishes up very well with very little effort.

I believe the engine is a reconditioned unit but I have no reciepts / history from the restoration so am unable to say for certain. Engine starts and runs very well and pulls well. gearbox is quiet and changes gear easily.

Starts. drives and stops very nicely. is sitting on nearly new tyres and has a spare that's never touched the road.

Also included with the Van is a BL Morris Minor workshop manual and a 1/26th scale Saico GPO model that's almost identical to this van.

I have access to a four post lift at work so the vehicle can be raised up for a proper look if required.
