   Within the past 18 months: $8500 show quality paintjob with mirror finish. the color is PPG DBC lava orange with 3 coats of gold pearl. The car was stripped to bare metal then PPG etching was applied then PPG K38 Surfacer and blocked. There is 6 coats of PPG DCU2002 clearcoat and it was wetsanded and buffed for a real nice deep wet show finish. All lines and gaps are perfect The engine is a 69 standard bore 440 that is studded with Eagle rods. Ross Pistons. Mopar Cylinder heads. Crane gold roller rockers. Mopar cam and a 950 Mighty Demon Carb with fuel injection. The engine is tuned and starts with the turn of the key instantly. The trans is a 727 custom built with revese manual valve body and 3400 stall converter. The rear end is a 8 3/4 suregrip. 489 casing with 3. 91 gears and Moser axles. Mopar Superstock leafsprings with QA1 shocks and front discs with 70% left on all brake pads. B&M 3 speed auto-slapstick. full gauge setup and hidden switch with fuel pump and master switch. On the dragstrip with plain radial tires it ran 11. 51 at 121mph shifting it at 5800 rpm with full exhaust(that was first time out). Just put new Mickey Thompson Drag radials and Weld Racing wheels. Car went 10. 89 with open exhaust and drag slicks. I just wanted to keep it nice and streetable to enjoy it more. 6 point roll cage and has been made a full frame also.  Almost $30. 00 dollars has been invested thus far. The engine build was $6500. trans and converter $4000. body and paint was $8500. rearend $2500. tires and rims $4000 and all the other little goodies that tend to add up such as custom made wheelie bars. twin electric fans and aluminum radiator etc. Speedo is disconnected and there is about 3000 miles on the complete system.
