Extremely RARE does not even begin to describe this vehicle.  All Aluminum engine was way ahead of its time.  This is a one owner car and has 61k original miles on the odometer.  Paint. engine. trans. interior. all original!  This is the first time since 1963 that this car has been up for sale.  Who knows when it will come available again!  Don't think this car has a high desirability? Yes. that's right. $49. 00 for a fully restored version of this car sold in Scottsdale this year.  Don't get me wrong. there was a ton of time. money. and love poured into that car. but they are only ORIGINAL once.
This car has been sitting in a attached garage in storage for many years.  It has been totally gone through and is running 100%.  Body is rust free and in excellent shape. also a fresh detail really makes that Grenada Red original paint gleam.  Interior is time capsule quality. driver side armrest has been professionally reupholstered.  The top has held up nicely although the window is starting its typical fog. and the passenger side rear roof corner is showing some cracking. but it is totally waterproof.  Glass is MINT.  Rubber is all in good shape.  Dash is fantastic.
The top is power driven and goes down without a hitch.  Coming back up however is another story.  Passenger side motor I believe is inoperable.
Quite a bit of work just went into the car this past month. here is a synopsis pf what has been done;

Starts up immediatley. runs quietly. drives smooth and straight.  Ready to be driven by a new owner or placed into a collection of important vehicles that helped shape the muscle car era that was only a year away.
The engine is a matching numbers. all Aluminum block and head set up.  This was quite rare for any car back in the day. never mind a Buick Skylark!  Think of what could have been if the Mustang didn't come on the scene and steal the show.  This could have been the GM precursor to the pony car wars.
