Morris Mini Cooper 997 model year 1962 Original Surf blue colour with old english white roof This car has been recently restored to a high standard for my sons wedding a year ago and has been kept in a dry garage since. its only been used 3 times so is now up for sale due to other projects. The car has a restored 1964 shell and is solid though out. all doors. bonnet and boot lid are in good condition. the shell was painted in the correct surf blue and white colour in 2pak paint and is very bright and shiny. The subframes have been fully rebuilt and painted. with all new components before fitting to car. Car upgrades: Cooper S 7. 5” disc brakes. original mini fins on the rear. (Hi Lo's) adjustable suspension on the front and rear. adjustable negative camber arms fitted. heavy duty tie rods. and new shock absorbers. The engine is now upgraded to 998cc original cooper engine with +40 flat top pistons. with 4 synco cooper gear box. original 997 cooper manifold with twin inch and a quarter carbs. LCB manifold. and new maniflow exhaust. This car has had a new wiring loom with alternator and is push button start. There are many original refurbished parts on this car. including original badges. correct 100mph speedo and sliding door catches. 3. 5j wheels with very good tires (india GT) and chrome caps. the car has also a innocenti sump guard new fuel lines. brakes pipes. new metal master cylinders with new old stock metal caps (original). new stainless still morris cooper grille. Many cooper parts fitted include vinyl on top dash rail. chrome ash tray ect Also this car has had a right hand petrol tank fitted but is now not with the car. However all the holes are in place if a new one is to fitted by the new owner. It currently has a dummy neck fitted. Also the car has the correct cooper boot board brackets fitted. This car has got current MOT and TAX and just need finishing off with the correct interior. Currently has some red seats fitted and some gold brocade trim here and there. I have the original green buff logbook. a current V5C and a Heritage certificate stating its original colour. Also original 1 number 3 letter registration plate as issued when new.
