1971 Chevrolet Camaro for sale
Current customer rating: (35 votes ) based onI built this car with the intention of keeping it forever. Five years later I'm in the thick of another project and I could really use the garage space, so I'm offering it for sale hoping that it finds an appreciative owner who wants to drive it regularly.
Originally a 307ci 2bbl with a powerglide, this car is now a very streetable, drivable beast with a new 383ci stroker that makes about 480hp/480lb ft at the crank. This has pretty much been my go-to car daily, although it's one of four cars I rotate among. I've put probably around 2000 miles on the car in the 4 years since completing the build. It attracts phones and thumbs up everywhere I take it.
I bought the car because it was an Arizona car that had just been repainted in period correct Z28 livery. The glass was new, as were the seat covers, carpet and headliner. That's pretty much all I kept. I stripped everything else off the car and replaced it to make it the drag racer/highway cruiser it is today. This is a very nice car and I'll store it before I give it away.
The odometer is only 5-digit and reads 10,622, so I have no idea what the actual mileage is.
The car is on a clean and clear Florida title and is available to be seen in Asheville, NC.
