RE-LISTED due to non-payment by johnny oconnor ( oconn-johnn ) who decided to hijack my listing by setting up an account a few hours before my listing ended. bid on it and then never paid or contacted me.  A big F-OFF to him for that.  I would put his address on here but the Egay police would get mad. anyway. here it is again and the body work is almost finished and ready for paint (60%)
Here is a " ONE OF A KIND " 1930 Model A coupe that has been customized with out the rear quarters.  I bought the body back in 2009 from the Rufus Ranch up in Brainerd. Minnesota and it is great shape (now) and top has been chopped an Awesome 6 inches and has an insert out of a 1978 Chevy van. it has the flip out front window. doesn't have any glass as of yet but will except front. quarter and rear glass.  There is no door glass unless the new owner wants to install it but it will need the window channels installed.  The body is in the process of being being molded and readied for paint and if not sold right away will be painted "saddle brown fire mist metallic" just like the frame. I added new cowl lower patch panels to the front. new door bottoms and panels to the doors and then wrapped the back of the body with 16 gauge steel and added some louvers. I added a small tapered panel to cover the fuel inlet which has a marine pop up cap for the opening. It will also have a small aluminum blister on the cowl to cover the steering arm.
The frame is a one off custom built out of 2x4 rectangular. 14 gauge steel.  The front has been sliced down to 2 inches and then the body was channeled 2 inches over the frame so it is flush with the bottom. All of the wiring. brake lines and fuel lines are inside the frame so when you look underneath you cant see anything but the drive train.  The frame has a buggy spring suspension in the front with a super bell. drilled. 4" dropped axle with drilled radius arms and chrome shorty shocks. The rear end is a 1980 Camaro that has a 3. 42 gear and a locker with a "fake" quick change cover held together with 1936 drilled radius arms and coil over shocks.  The frame was molded and painted "saddle brown fire mist metallic" and the suspension and fire wall was molded and painted "black diamond fire mist metallic".  The steering is the traditional style and uses a 56 ford F-100 steering box.
The wheels are from "The Early Wheel Company" the front are 15x4 with 640-15 Firestone's and the rear are 15x6 with 670-15 Firestone's from Newstalgia wheel and are painted the same "black diamond fire mist metallic". The brakes on the front are the new 1940 "self energizing" drum brakes and the rear are 1980 Camaro drum brakes.  The master cylinder is for a sand rail dune buggy and has a hydraulic clutch with slave cylinder.
The engine is a 260 V-8 from a 1964 Ford Falcon with 10. 00 original miles.  It is basically stock with a Holley 4 barrel. electric choke. finned valve covers. oil pan. breathers and air cleaner.  The radiator is for a Honda civic and I have installed another radiator under the back of the car off of a Suzuki dirt bike.  I was worried that the car might not have enough water in it to properly cool the engine so I added that radiator for added protection.  The transmission is out of the same car and is a T-10 4 speed with a new clutch and pressure plate and shifts good.
The interior is as basic as I could get it and since there really isn't much room. there wasn't much need for many amenities.  It has 3 Sunpro gauges (tachometer. temperature. oil pressure. fuel level) mounted in a dash for a 1958 VW bug.  There is a start switch and a light switch. that is it and all that is needed.  It has a brand new wiring harness and the battery is all mounted up under that cowl so it can't be seen but is still easily accessible. I haven't added any seats or anything as of yet and was waiting on the body work to be completed but I might just leave that for the new owner.  I also have a hood and a set of hood sides that I will throw in along with all the receipts and pictures that were taken while building the car.
This car is fun and fast to drive and gets A LOT of looks cruising down the road. I am selling it not finished or almost finished because I am in need of some funds to help with a mission trip to Belize over Thanksgiving day week. I hate to sell it this way but this is more important.  I am sure that I am missing some things so PLEASE ask any and all questions.  I require a $2. 00. 00 (non refundable) down payment thru paypal and the rest can also be sent thru paypal or by cash in hand.   VIN plate has been applied for as soon as that gets back I will register it.  GA doesn't require a title for cars under 1980 so a bill of sale will be issued.   Buyer is responsible for shipping.
