Up for sale we have a 1970 Dodge Dart Swinger. The dart has been around since 1960 and it started out as a full size and ended up as a compact. The 4th gen dart went from 67 to 76 and was on the A body Platform. For 1970 they gave it a new look with a new grill and tail lights. In the paragraphs to follow we will give you a brief description of the exterior. interior. and driveline of the Dodge. but first we would like to tell you a little about us.

Smoky Mountain Traders is a classic car dealer in east Tennessee. We are family owned. operated. and own our entire inventory. no consignments. and only deal in muscle cars and vintage auto. You can count on us to have 50 to 60 cars at all times. We don’t have a big show room that our customers would otherwise pay for. So. that’s how we can sell for less than other dealers. We will start off with the exterior of the Dart. The body looks solid with good lines. All the gaps and panels alignments are very good. It’s covered in the Raspberry Metallic paint that is accented by the tail stripe and blacked out hood with the dual scoops and factory style hood pins. The stainless and trim all looks good. All the weather stripping and widnow felt is in good shape. As for the glass it’s good and the side windows working as they should. The bumpers look good. but we are not sure if they’re new. The final exterior touch is the Cragar SS Mags with good tires.

Next. we will take a look at the interior of the 70. It’s all done in classic black with the correct bench seats. Both of the seats. carpet. and headliner look like new as well as the dash pad. The door panels look good. The shifter has been changed to a floor mount B&M Ratchet Shifter. They added a set of autometer gauges under the dash and a tach with shift light. This dart retains the factory style seats belts.

Finally. we will take a look at the driveline of the Dodge. Under the hood it’s powered by a built ’67 model 340 V8 that is mated to a 727 Torque Flite Trans. The engine comes with an Edelbrock Intake and carb along with sheet metal Aluminum Valves covers and chrome breather. The sound is provided by the Headman coated headers and Flow Master Exhaust. It comes with manual steering and front disc brakes. When looking at the floor pans and frame rails they look good with the pans having had some repair work done. but they did a good job.
