FOR SALE; FERRARI F355 BERLINETTA // FACTORY CARBON SEATS // ROSSO CORSA // 7K MILES // FSH

EQUIPMENT
UK RHD, 6-Speed Manual, Rosso Corsa Paint, Nero Callipers, 18″ 5-Spoke Alloys, Black Leather Carbon Fibre Seats with Red Inserts, Alpine CD/Radio, Adjustable Sports Suspension, Electric Windows, Heated Mirrors, Front Airbags, Original Tool Kit

EXTERIOR
Arguably the ultimate evolution of the mid engine Ferrari the F355 Berlinetta is still a striking piece of design 25 years after its launch. With its steeply raked nose, deep side intakes and iconic pop up headlights the wedge shaped shaped silhouette was an instant classic that epitomised an era of flair and innovation at Maranello.

Having covered just 7k miles this cherished example presents in highly original condition; the factory designated coat of Rosso Corsa looks sensational and shows with a superb depth, with nothing more than a few carefully touched in stonechips to detract from the wonderfully vibrant finish.

INTERIOR
Continuing the classic feel of the F355 this example is upholstered in a stunning Nero leather, spanning the dashboard, doors and extremely rare factory fitted carbon seats. Featuring tonal red inserts and a low slung driving position they provide excellent support for both driver and passenger and give the interior of the Ferrari a real motorsport edge. Adding to the sense of occasion is the magnificent open gate gear stick; with its chrome finish it sits pride of place in the centre of the car and is a welcome sight in a modern world of paddle shifters.

Helping to keep the weight of the Berlinetta to a minimum the equipment list is basic but effective, with electric windows, heated mirrors and a period Alpine headunit the car has all the essentials for a long distance road trip or short weekend blast. Being mid-engine the storage space is at the front and provides adequate space for a couple of weekend bags, as well as housing the original leather tool kits that are still present with the car.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
The major difference between the V8 engine in the 348 and 355 was the introduction of a 5-valve cylinder head. This new head design allowed for better intake permeability and resulted in an engine that was considerably more powerful. A hoarse bark greets the starter before the engine settles to a deep, resonant idle. Paired to a sensational 6-speed manual gearbox the F355 was one of the last truly analogue cars to be produced Ferrari; shifts are well weighted and slick, with a mechanical satisfaction that adds a real sense of engagement for the driver.

With just 7k miles on the clock and full service history, from both main dealers and specialists, the mechanical condition of the car is faultless.

WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
The classic 5 spoke Speedline wheels are in unmarked condition wrapped in a correct set of Pirelli P zero tyres – all of which show plenty of tread.

The brakes perform as they should, with no adverse pitch, pull or drone. The black callipers are free from chips or corrosion and complete the overall fantastic condition of this Ferrari
