Sad to see my cherished car go. but not being used as much as I would like.   Time for someone else to enjoy this most under-rated of sports saloons.

THIS IS NOT JUST ANOTHER MG ROVER.   THE VALUATION OF THESE AWSOMELY RARE CARS CAN ONLY GO IN ONE DIRECTION. DO YOUR RESEARCH BEFORE BIDDING (Google the Two-Sixties website for lots of information. )

Classic Car insurance through Peter Best Insurance (MG Specialists) is only £179. albeit on a low mileage useage.   Valuation of the car confirmed as accurate by insurer.

I have owned this car for 18 months. and in that time have put on around 2000 miles. and I enjoyed every one of them.   If you know the car. you'll know the next bit; if not:

MG Rover made around 800 of these cars. by redesigning and configuring the Rover 75 / MGZT to rear wheel drive and inserting the classic 4. 6l V8 from the Ford Mustang.   There are now only around 400 examples left on the road.   Rover designed  the car to take up to 400 bhp. but never got around to releasing such a beast before they went belly up;  the result is that the handling on this car is exceptional.   You cannot help but smile as you relax into the supportive leather seats.   With adjustable steering wheel and electrically adjusted heated seats. the driving position is spot on.

 This is the Mark2 SE Version. so Cruise Control. Traction Control. Rover / BMW HiLine Sat Nav (with analogue TV) and CD Auto-changer are all standard.

In the time I have had the car. I have installed a new clutch. new disks and pads all round. and refurbished the alloy wheels.   The only signs of wear are a car park scratch (about 1. 5 inches long. cut through paint but not the primer) on the rear passenger door and a few stone chips on the bonnet.   It also has the outstanding "X Power" stainless steel exhaust system which has the sound to die for.   Search MG ZT 260 on You Tube - there are loads of examples of their sound.   I have the original exhausts in the garage.

Also included in the sale is a rubberised boot liner (from the Rover 75) and a spare wheel.   The car came only with a aerosol repair kit as the space under the boot floor is full of Audio and Sat Nav electrics.   The car has private plates which are  included in the sale.   Original plates are still in my possession.
