Current customer rating: (291 votes) based on
This car is a 1968 V8 250 in its original colour of Old English White with dark blue leather trim. It had a complete restoration 10 years ago. to a very high standard including a bare metal re-paint. engine and gearbox re-build with new crank. and a complete interior re-trim. It remains in A1 condition – the paint finish is simply outstanding and the underside is in beautiful order. Mechanically. it is excellent with strong oil pressure and a crisp engine note.
This beautiful Daimler is quite simply as good as anything I have seen offered below £20k and would certainly cost much more to replicate. It drives just as well as it looks with strong brakes and smooth power steering and is unlikely to deteriorate if it is kept well because of the quality of the restoration. Recent expenditure by the last owner as well as comprehensive servicing. includes £2k worth of re-chroming and the fitting of a front and rear “period” seat belts” at £600.
Ready to use and comes with an interesting history file including various old MOT's back to the 70's. buff logbook. Please call if more detail is required. Viewing near Woburn. Beds.
