You've might have noticed something extra special about this 1939 Ford Deluxe Business Coupe. It combines a custom '38 front end with the sleeker rear styling of later years. But even with its custom touches. it doesn't lose its vintage charm. That's why it's such an attractive classic.


The 1937-1940 Fords are some of the most iconic classics around. and this one pays tribute to it all. The pointed front end and extra long grille of the first few years boldly leads the way. And it's hard not to appreciate those artful front fenders with the extra curvature for the teardrop headlights. The long profile with full-length bright trim is a hallmark of these coupes. Plus. the stretched trunk of the business coupe gives this car a sporty silhouette. This accentuated further by the streamlined rear end that came on the later '39 cars. The total impression is a unique classic that subtly celebrates one of the best designs to come from Ford. And this one really does like to show off its individuality. That's why it has been given a professional application of a glossy tan. and it even gets the details right with the black pinstripe and iconic whitewall Firestones. Plus. brightwork lovers will really appreciate the shine on the mirror-like chrome bumpers and Ford V8 hubcaps.


The interior looks quite authentic. We know there was some update to the chestnut fabric and carpeting during this coupe's lifetime. but it all remains in-line with the idea that this classic wants to feel authentic. That's exactly how to view this coupe. The steering wheel is that classic banjo-style that instantly connect you with generations of drivers. Every button. dial. and knob is period-correct to make this Ford feel like a time machine. You even tilt the windshield forwards and roll the side windows down to create the kind of breeze through the cabin that can only come from classic motoring. And you will love opening the trunk at car shows to tell prying eyes the tales of the cavernous business coupe was built for salesmen but eventually became a moonshiner's favorite.


Another reason why outlaw moonshiners loved these Fords is under the hood. The Flathead V8 was the legendary powerhouse of the era. and the extra displacement of the 239 cubic-inch motor fits nicely with this coupe's story. It's dressed quite correctly in the engine bay. right down to the dual radiator tubes and the decals on the oil bath air cleaner. But if you look closely. you'll also see some nice upgrades for more modern convenience like an electric fan. alternator. and upgrade to an ignition key start. The motor is mated to a three-on-the-tree manual transmission for a bit of fun. even the dual exhaust gives a hint at the hot rod feeling.

Once we have received the funds. we will prepare the car for international shipment through one of our approved land and ocean carriers. We file all the necessary documents for export. deliver the car to a US port. secure it in containers and board an ocean carrier. We can land a vehicle to any port worldwide handling container traffic. We export cars regularly and are familiar with export requirements. You. or your agent. are responsible for Custom clearing the vehicle and registration in your own country.
