1973 BMW E9 CSI MANUAL GENUINE GOLF YELLOW
This is a genuine BMW E9 CSI with manual gearbox
Wheels are rare 100+ alloys
Restoration has been started with sills being completed and finished with genuine BMW outer sills fitted
The inner and middle sills had all rot cut out and new pieces fabricated and fitted to restore the original strength of these complicated structures
unlike some restorations where they have been left and fitted with cheap cover sills to hide what lies inside 
New floor panels have been fabricated and fitted to the front and back with the offside rear still to do.
The doors have had new metal let in at the bottoms. the front splash guards repaired. together with repairs to the boot lid and the bonnet which 
are now free of any rot.
New front wings where fitted in the past and are rot free
The spare wheel well has been repaired previously but is very patchy and done to a poor standard so really needs replacing or repairing to a better finish.
As can be seen in the photos. more work needs to be done around the offside front inner wing near the bulkhead.

The engine was running before restoration was started and will be running before the auction end with a link to YouTube to confirm this.
The seats are present as are the door cards and rear side panels.
All the glass is with the car together with the front and rear lights. side trims and a set of chrome wheel arch extensions as fitted to the CSL but these are 
copies and not original !
There is still more work to be done before the car will be roadworthy but it is a worthwhile project on a rare car with less than
150 genuine RHD CSIs left and very few in the original Golf Yellow 
 With any restoration project. it is always best to view the car so that you are sure of what you are buying and to that end viewing will be available Monday to Saturday 
between the hours of 09. 00 and 19. 00 with Sunday by appointment.
As with any listing. there may be errors and omissions for which no liability is taken by the seller 
A deposit of £250 by Paypal is required within 2 hours of auction end with the balance by bank transfer or Paypal but
with Paypal fees to be paid by the buyer.
The car will not be released till bank confirms clearance of money.
