1982 BMW e23 735i A chance to own a rare Sharknose BMW, this is one of the very last pre-facelift, which is arguably the coolest.I have owned this car for over 4 yrs and maintained it regardless. It has a genuine 87k miles. MOT'd until 04/07/22, with advisories which only rear subframe bushes still to do, but they will be supplied (genuine BMW parts). Front brake flexies were replaced with braided ones. Both front ARB bushes replaced, and new front drop links, all genuine parts. The bodywork is excellent, the paint is called Kastanienrot Metallic, which is like a chestnut red, the shell has no rust at all, the under bonnet has been resprayed to bring up to standard, there are the odd marks consummate with age. Mechanically is very good as well, it is fitted with lowering springs, which, if I was keeping it, I would replace with coil overs, as the ride is not the greatest, but the stance over rules the ride. BBS front and rear spoilers.  The ECU has been replaced with a fully mappable Emerald K6 unit at a cost of nearly £2kI have receipts for Thousands, all in a neat folder which will go with the car.    Interior is exactly as it came from the factory, and is all intact apart from worn cloth to the drivers bolster ( see pic )  Comes with electric windows, front and back, and a tilt / slide electric sunroof. Radio does not work, but could be internal fuse ?Rev counter doesn't work either, all other dials work.   The car will come with the original metric wheels with old tyres ( see last pic ), the gold AGM 16" Penta's could be purchased via separate negotiation. There will also be some spares that go with the car, if a reasonable price is reached.    The 7 series are much rarer then the 6 series, and more practical being a proper 4 seater, with only a handful on the road in the UK, I have never seen another one on the road, or at any shows, since I have had her.    So, why am I selling, well I have just bought a 1973 Mk1 Transit Campervan and with no shows for the last 2yrs the BMW as just sat in the garage, with occasional outings. So the Campervan will now be our show vehicle, so the BM is now surplus to requirements.
