    History / Condition:  

 

  You are bidding on a used 2005 F250 4x4.   Used as a personal daily driver for a number of years and since used as a spare vehicle and to occasionally tow a  trailer with yard equipment. etc.  Never used as a construction or work vehicle.  Not driven very much recently so selling it here.   This is a nice. dependable pickup that has always been properly mechanically maintained. had regular oil changes. maintenance. etc.  The truck has all the usual cosmetic issues (wear and tear. corrosion. crack in windshield very low at the windshield wiper rest location. etc. ) that are typical for a truck of this age.  The interior is in good condition and presents well. the exterior looks good from a few feet away but has the expected rust. scratches. etc. up closer that are normal for a truck of this age.  With a little TLC to the exterior. some attention to the areas with rust. etc. the exterior would look great.  The tires are only a few months old and the factory chrome wheels are in nice condition.  The truck mechanically is very nice. nothing known of needed - no noted leaks or drips. starts right up (no engine smoke or any out of the ordinary sounds. etc). runs smooth. brakes straight. drives great.  A/C blows nice and cold.    This is one of my friends (20+ years) vehicles that I am selling here for him as he is not into using the ebay / internet. etc to sell things. He is getting another vehicle next week and will trade this in if it does not sell here.  If the truck does not sell here it will be traded in at the dealership next week when the new car arrives - it is posted here for a little over what the dealership offered as we all know they offer much less than you can sell a used vehicle for yourself.  

$2000+ in receipts for most recent normal maintenance / service just this year (within last 2000 miles) (as mentioned prior: tie rods. ball joints. all new tires. ignition coil packs)

I understand it can be hard purchasing an item like this via the web. sight unseen. etc.   You only have the seller's history. reputation. the pictures. etc. to go on.   Therefore I have posted quite a few pictures and tried to provide a detailed description to the best of my ability.   I have bought and sold many. many cars (mostly older collectable cars). bikes. and boats via ebay and the web over the years (please feel free to review my feedback in detail. you will see many of the collectable cars. bikes. etc. I have sold) and I try hard to do my best to make every transaction complete successfully – as I will do here.      

       Pickup / Shipping:

  The winning bidder is responsible for pickup / shipping / transportation / etc. of the truck.   There are a number of good shipping / transport companies and I have shipped many cars. boats. motorcycles. etc. and I can assist the winning bidder with the transport. shipping. etc.   I can also deliver the truck as long as I am compensated for gas. time. etc. (within a reasonable distance) as I have a trailer I could transport it in.   The car is located in Novi. MI (Novi is about 20 minutes West of Detroit Metro Airport).  

 

   

  Terms:

Winning bidder to contact the seller within 24 hours of the auction's end and a non-refundable $250   deposit must be received within 24 hours of the auction's close.
