There is much more to this great little Dart Swinger than meets the eye. The car has 47. 00 original miles. and is so nice that it would be considered a “survivor. ” It has a complete build sheet showing that it is an original 318 car with air-conditioning and a factory sunroof. In addition to the original build sheet. the sale includes the original owners manual and other “glove box” documents as well.
Most of the paint is original. There are a few small areas that have been painted. but not due to rust. There are a few small nicks and chips as well as a few minor areas where the paint is getting a little thin from polishing. but nothing that detracts from the aesthetics of the car. The engine and trunk are original and un-detailed. The interior could pass for that of a one year old car.
The only things that are not original are the stripe on the rear of the car (it is a reproduction of the one that was available and I simply could not resist adding it) and the factory style dual exhaust.
The car runs absolutely perfectly. Exactly the way you would expect a 47. 00 mile car to drive. Everything on the car works including the air-conditioning. The only exception is the (manual) sunroof which needs a little help due to worn gears. The car also drives beautifully. sounds great. and is surprisingly quick. It stops in a straight line and there are no squeaks or rattles.
