This restored & highly desirable ‘round speedo' model is a 500F with its original 499cc engine & is showing a mileage of 27. 51KM (16. 32 Miles). It's LHD. has only had a hand full of owners from new & was manufactured in 1965 at the Fiat factory & sold to its first Italian owner on 1st October 1965.

It remained in the town of Fidenza which is located in the province of Parma. Northern Italy until August this year when we purchased it from its Italian owner who has spent the last 3 years having this exceptional little 500 restored by experts to a most exacting standard. Circa 7000 Euros has been spent in his quest to restore it to better than factory standards. We have known of this little car for over a year & were only able to purchase it due to the owners impending divorce! We have now had it transported to our shores & obtained full UK registration.

This example has the original shell along with the original engine. now fully rebuilt & detailed. it's is by far one of the most honest & well finished Fiat 500's we have ever come across. On close inspection it looks properly restored & as new. it is no doubt as good as when it left the factory in 1965!

This is a collectors opportunity & a superb investment. it has only driven less than 100 KMS since its restoration & hence this cheeky chappy is now registered. MOT'd & being offered for sale!

The full pain staking nut & bolt restoration completed in the summer of 2013 included: Complete strip to metal shell. the structure was found to be excellent & only new floor pans & cills were fitted. The original interior was replaced along with the sunshine roof (with the exception of the rear seats). The engine was removed & fully professional rebuilt along with being fully repainted. A Fait quality sports exhaust system was also fitted. The clutch. steering. springs. bushes. struts. starter motor. braking system. along with all mechanical parts were replaced or refurbished. span >  all pedals were restored. the petrol tank was flushed & refurbished. a new original design rubber mat set installed along with other items of interior trim. The lights were replaced front and rear. all new rubbers fitted. bumpers & brackets were all replaced. new wing mirror fitted. new badges. Borrani steel wheels were fitted shod in as new Cinturato tyres. The car was fully painted at this time in the original shade of Fiat Rosso Corsa that you see today. This includes the shell complete inside & out. No corner was left not professionally painted. The underside was also fully finished in a spray gun applied matt black anti stone chip product. The underside parts were also fully finished to a very high standard.   In fact it looks as good underneath as it does on the top!

Since being in our possession. we have been meticulous in our further preparation prior to offering this exception example to the market buy undertaking the following works: Machine polished the complete vehicle. Detailed the engine bay & boot area. Reset the boot lid correctly so it locks with ease. Fitted chrome wiper blades. Fitted various minor bits of trim. New engine lid strap & clips. New rear number plate light hosing. New washer jet pump. Supplied a period correct brace & jack. Fitted a new quality Varta battery. New Borrani s/s hub caps. Fitted new period number plates with number plate surrounds. Adjusted the steering geometry. Supplied a fresh MOT and conducted a multipoint check. Tuned the carbs. Set the timing. Adjusted & cleaned the brakes & given the cheeky little chap a full service just to be sure! We have even fitted a new tax disc holder. 500 Key ring. ACI club sticker; The car is on the button. very reliable & ready to go…

Period Fiat Rosso Corsa paintwork with a black interior ( We can supply & fit any interior colour set if required at extra cost). including matching door cards. with the original specification black plastic full floor covering & a new black full sun roof. finished white underneath.

Mileage showing 27. 55KM. (16. 32 Miles) at time of writing. but this may increase as this is an exceptionally quick & good driving 500. so I intend to use it myself when the sun shines!
