1991 Jaguar XJS CLASSIC CONVERTIBLE

The last of the British Jaguars. this 1991 Convertible Classic Collection Edition is a beauty.  
In great shape. one sweet ride. and perfect for warm weather cruising.
The big V-12 engine loves to run at freeway speeds. Combined with weighing over 5. 00 pounds. it's like floating across the pavement. Signal Red Exterior. rare Magnolia full leather interior with Burl Wood trim. and black fabric top with glass rear window and rear defrost feature.
Paint in excellent and bright condition.
Interior leather in excellent shape though driver's seat cover shows some minor wear.  
The interior burl wood is like new.
The chrome is bright and shiny with no pits or dents.
Carpet is also very clean. Has special designed Jaguar logo embossed floor mats.  
Top is in excellent shape though the interior liner has some water stains as shown in the photos. (Every one of these convertible Jags had leaks. I had one new in 1991 and even then. there were leak issues).
Everything works. A/C could use a recharge.  
FULLY LOADED PLUS. has optional chrome honeycomb wheels. locking lug nut. red center caps. chrome hood badge. burl wood steering wheel. burl wood gear shift lever. factory alarm system. and power side mirrors.
NOT ONE OF THE PRIOR 91 CONVERTIBLE JAGS WHICH HAVE PREVIOUSLY SOLD ON EBAY WAS AS FULLY EQUIPPED OR HAD THE OPTIONAL ACCESSORIES WHICH THIS CAR DOES.  
Comes with reinforced molded fabric convertible top "boot" cover which conceals the top when it is lowered. Matches the top fabric.
V-12 engine purrs and runs smoothly.  
All instruments. gauges. windows. door locks. and power top work perfectly.  
Has factory cruise control. AM/FM Cassette radio. and power antenna.
Tires are like new.
As far as I know it has every option offered in 1991.
Originally from Florida and then spent a few years in South Carolina before I purchased her in 2008. (I'm the third owner)
Kept in heated storage in Michigan. rarely driven.
A few years ago I had the heater core replaced. To do so the entire interior had to be removed. dash. seats. etc. Mechanic said he had never seen one of these cars so clean.
Why am I selling her? The laws of physics. When I purchased this car in 2008. I was 5'9" 175 lbs. Over the last 8 years my weakness for good food has added 100 lbs to my frame and I have become too large for this tight an interior and low profile car. It's too difficult to haul my fat a$$ out of her. I fit better in big American luxury convertibles of the 60's such as Lincolns or Imperials.
These cars sold new for about $75. 00 in 1991. That's $131. 00 in 2017 dollars.
