Sure. you already are attracted to this 1968 Dodge Charger in full General Lee attire. But the reason why this is going to be the most irresistible one ever is the fact that while you listen to the signature sound of the General. Dixie on the horn. you can admire the signatures of all your favorite cast members. Oh yeah. and the 383 big block is original to the car. too!


While this car's legendary appearance already makes it a superstar. take some time to really look at the details. The orange paint shines brightly so you can instantly identify it from any distance. It makes for a great canvas to add the General Lee's signature graphics and push bumper. Of course. a Charger already has a huge desirability factor that comes from the unique elements like the hidden headlights. extra-wide chrome bumpers. and flying buttress C-pillars. Plus. this one was given the right touches like the split grille and updated taillight panel to be like a true General Lee. Finish it off with the correct Vector wheels with Shelby center caps. and this is the general that commands all others when it shows up on the scene.


The moment you look inside. you (and everyone else. too) will instantly gravitate to all the signatures on the dash. Sonny Schroyer "Enos". Rick Hurst "Cletus". and Ben Jones "Cooter" all have claimed this car. Plus. you'll find signatures for the rest of the stars (including John Schneider "Bo". Tom Wopat "Luke". James Best "Rosco". and Catherine Bach "Daisy") in/on the trunk. But this car is more than just a great piece of memorabilia. Chargers are popular because they're fast. but they're also spacious. comfortable. and surprisingly luxurious. too. The handsome parchment bucket seats look great with the original factory pattern. The matching door panels. dash pad. and headliner all have a fresh and clean feeling that tells you there was a nice investment during restoration. A center console is always a welcome sight. especially with the stylized bright paneling and bright shifter poking through. Beyond the factory three-spoke steering wheel is a factory full gauge package. In fact. this one feels so authentic. there's a CB radio and tunes still come from the factory AM receiver! But if you use this General Lee for cruising. you'll truly appreciate the CD changer hidden away in the glove box.


The engine bay is filled with Mopar big block power. The 383 cubic inch V8 looks great with the bright air grabber and valve covers contrasting nicely against the black fender walls. While this numbers-matching powerplant already did a great job of getting the General Lee around in a hurry. the Holley four-barrel carburetor and Edelbrock Performer intake add some extra power to the big V8. The rumble from the dual exhaust already makes this a showstopper. but again. the Dixie horn is what they'll all really love hearing as you pass by. And with features like power steering. front disc brakes. limited slip rear end. and the original 727A TorqueFlite three-speed automatic transmission. you'll be far more comfortable than Bo & Luke ever had it.
