1950 FORD F1 Pickup Hotrod truck (F100)

Up for grabs is my Ford F1 pickup. 1950. This truck was imported in 2008 and the first owner was a friend of mine. when he got it. we rewired it using a proper loom converted it to 12v and fitted electric wipers. I got it off him about 3 years ago. Since then I have removed the old engine and fitted a Ford 302 with C4 auto box. Engine and box were low mileage and I fitted all new ancillaries. new water pump (aluminium) new 500 cfm edelbrock carb and aluminium edelbrock inlet. new alternator. new power steering pump. new exhaust system and headers. new aluminium radiator a kenlowe fan. Chrome rocker covers etc. are fitted. The truck still runs on beam suspension at the front but has been converted to rack and pinion using a No limit engineering kit. it now has power steering and drives lovely. at the same time I purchased a No limit disc conversion kit and also replaced the kingpins. The master cylinder and servo are land rover discovery items. At the beginning of this year I changed all the leaf springs for lowered " posies super sliders " and fitted nitrogen shocks. For a truck on original style suspension this is as good as it gets. Prop was made by Reco prop. Rear axle is stock with no noises. so i didnt bother changing it. works fine. Inside the bench seat is good with no rips or tears. but I have placed a mexican blanket over it. there is a full set of working so cal gauges and a lokar shifter. Also fitted and working is the original magicair heater !
Body and chassis on the truck are very solid. body is pretty straight not perfect but good. it is not a show class paint job. but allows anyone serious to see exactly what they are getting. (I have probably made it sound worse than it is) Wheels and tyres are almost new. I can paint out the door writing if the new owner would prefer.
Truck is registered and I have been using it regularly. I have copies of the import papers as well as all relevant documentation.
This is a good reliable truck that has been tastefully modified to enhance the driving pleasure of the vehicle. It will go anywhere and has no issues.
I have started the bidding at my lowest price and looking at what is available I think a bargain. You would not buy the parts to make one for this!
