MORRIS MINOR VAN 1970 BLUE GOOD RUNNER MOT AND TAX NO RESERVE SALE

HELLO AND WELCOME TO OUR NO RESERVE AUCTION OF A MORRIS MINOR 1000 VAN REGISTERED 11TH MARCH 1970
THE VAN IS BASICALLY VERY SOUND THE CHASSIS IS VERY GOOD AND IT PASSED AN MOT IN MARCH 2013 WITH THE FOLLOWING ADVISORIES
1/ N/S rearleaf spring bush slightly deteriorated2/ O/S rear leaf spring bush slightly deteriorated3/ N/S front suspension arm inner bush slightly deteriorated4/ O/S front shock absorber has a light misting of oil5/ Corrosion around rear lamp fittings (repair panels are sold with the van - see picture)
WE HAVE GIVEN THE VAN A SHORT TEST RUN AND ALL SEEMS WELL BUT THE BRAKES ARE NOT GOOD COMPARED TO A MODERN CAR ( normal for a Morris 1000 I'am told !) ENGINE AND GEARBOX SEEM FINE STARTS FIRST TIME WITH A BIT OF CHOKE (choke !!! there's a blast from the past) NO EXCESSIVE SMOKE ETC BUT DOES HAVE A TIMING CHAIN RATTLE ON IDLE.  
THERE IS A BOX OF BITS AND BOBS INCLUDING NEW REPAIR PANELS FOR THE REAR LAMP AREAS. ALSO INCLUDED IS THE VISOR TO GO ABOVE THE WINDSCREEN ( how very aerodynamic ) WE ALSO HAVE 6 OLD MOT'S AND A NUMBER OF INVOICES FOR PARTS ETC. ITEMS WORTH NOTING ARE1/ Fuel pump and dizzy - 20062/ Main and con rod bearings - 20063/ 2 front wings and headlamp bowls - 20064/ Gearbox (re con) - 2007  IT WOULD APPEAR THAT THE VAN HAD A LOT OF WORK DONE IN 06/07 AND WE DO HAVE A FEW PHOTOS OF THIS WORK. IF YOUR LOOKING FOR A PRISTINE VAN THEN THIS ONE IS NOT FOR YOU HOW EVER IT IS A USEABLE VAN - ROLLING RESTORATION or just use it as it is ??? A LOT OF THE VAN IS QUITE ORIGINAL IT HAS THE CORRECT VAN WHEELS (no spare) WE HAVE A V5 SHOWING 6 FORMER KEEPERS (not bad for a 43 year old vehicle) WE HAVE TAKEN MORE PHOTOS AND ARE HAPPY TO E/MAIL THESE TO ANYONE WITH A GENUINE INTEREST.
I am sure you can tell from my sarcasm that we are not a fan of "MOGI" so it's here to sell NO RESERVE
We are a small independand used car dealer based in North wales and "MOGI" came to us in a part exchange deal for a modern car. We sell our part exchanges here on e/bay unreserved - as seen - spares or repair. We have no real idea on the "true" value of this classic van although we have had many people telling us "oh they fetch good money you'll get 7 grand for that" but they don't seem so keen when you say "OK it's yours" and we have had all kinds of "advice!!"
