1972 Plymouth Road Runner

For Sale:  1972 Plymouth Roadrunner. Original B5 Blue 4 Speed car. One repaint 2 yrs ago. NO RUST ANYWHERE. This is not a reconstructed car with replacement quarters. fenders. floors etc. It was factory rustproofed and has never seen road salt. The engine/trans is from a 1967 Plymouth Sport Fury 383 727 transmission. 62. 00 original miles. Originally a 400 4 speed ( clutch pedal and uncut 4 speed floor hump is intact and not cut up. ) I put this drive train in because i have a bad leg and cant shift a manual transmission. I also have the 4 speed driveshaft to go with the car. I assumed someone would someday like to make it back into a 4 speed again. The car is beautiful. Has a 71' Grill. New Dual exhaust. All brake components gone through and 100%. Transmission shifts perfectly. Engine starts right up with no lifter noise or problems. Car can sit at idle for an hour on a summer day and run at 190. Excellent engine. The only issue is that i dont have the shift down linkage for passing gear connected. so I shift manually. The shifter is a 68 Roadrunner floor automatic that I had modified to fit the original 4 speed offset floor opening. I did not want to cut into/or modify the floor. The car shifts tight and perfectly with no slip. but you shift manually like a line lock. New Edelbrock Carb. Fuel pump. attery. Alternator. Exhaust. Wires. Plugs. Sounds fantastic . factory manifolds and engine internals. Nice new centerline rims and Tires. If you look at the photos of the bare floors and trunk. they are nearly perfect. New Carpet. original door panels are excellent. all glass and chrome is original and excellent. New headliner. Rear seat excellent. drivers bench very good (needs minor vinyl work on driver seat area). Lights work. wipers work (but needs arms and blades) Heater core is good. No stereo. I have the factory antenna) a few splits in the dash pad. Car handles great (for a 72') stops straight. runs cool all day. and is very fast. Just very minor finishing touches and could be a show car. No dents. o dings. or rust. body is perfect. Real RM. Real original 4 speed. top condition. Clear Title . No reserve auction. Bidding starts at 9k.  Thanks for looking.
