1974 Toyota FJ-40 Landcruiser with 350 V8. I've been working on this truck for over 2 years.  From what I can tell. it was repainted quite a few years ago. but it still looks good from 10-15 ft away.  The floor "tub" has some rust. but the frame is solid.  The hard top cap and rain gutter need work but the majority of the top window rubber is in good condition. the front door window rubber needs to be replaced. The previous owner also decided to put a sunroof in it for some reason. and failed to tell me the glass had been broken out so i found that out after I bought it.  I haven't started any work on the hard top so I've just had a piece of plexiglass temporarily in place. I'd replace the tub panels and top cap if I were to do a frame off restoration. I used a wire wheel and angle grinder to sand down the tub panels. then coated it all with bedliner material. The frame is solid. there's no cancerous rust. The seats are after-market poly buckets in the front and wide bench jump seats in the back. I was told the engine came from an 80's model Corvette. but I don't know for certain. The speedometer and odometer isn't operational(not wired) but the previous owner said the engine had 100k miles on it when i bought it 2 years ago. Since then. I've installed new head gaskets. intake manifold and other gaskets. It has dual headers with mufflers ported out just behind the doors. It has been recently tuned with new plugs. wires. distributor and Edelbrock carburetor. It has new belts and hoses. and the battery is about a year and a half old. I also replaced the gas tank with a new poly tank. which was manufactured to be identical to the original. only rust-proof. The clutch and brake master cylinders are new. The front (disc) brake rotors. calipers. pads and soft lines are new. The rear drums. shoes and brake cylinders are new. I stipped down the front axle. repacked and replaced the wheel bearings. The wheel studs. lug nuts. tires. front shocks and steering stabilizer are new. The transfer case was replaced a few months ago with one that was professionally remanufactured in a specialty shop in Colorado. The front and rear differential fluid and transmission fluid was replaced at that time as well. The truck has been rewired with a 'Painless' 350 wiring harness. The tail lights are new and the lenses in the front turn signals are new. The front Toyota emblem and the front-side LandCruiser badges are new OEM. It comes with 2 grey Landcruiser soft doors and a grey bikini top. I'll also include the original heater core (not currently installed because it's almost always hotter than **** in Mississippi) and an Air Locker compresser. in case you want to heavily offroad your 40+ year old classic.  In a nut shell. It's an awesome machine. and a reliable daily driver that's well on it's way to being fully restored.  The winning bidder can contact me with their payment and shipping arrangements. When payment is received in full. I'll overnight the title free of charge.
