To start with. let me first say that I understand that there are tons of photos and information in my ad. OK. so there is more than a ton with (183) photos and (1) video. Anyways. I also understand that this may be boring to the person who is just looking and not buying. However. for the person who is looking to buy and spend their hard earned money. I feel that there is never too much information or too many photos.

As to myself. I am not a dealer. just a (63) year old kid that loves muscle cars. For my work. I recently retired from managing a Correctional Facility here in Maine having worked there for just shy of (40) years. I am also a respected member of my community. I mention this only because of the value of this car and so that prospective buyers will have some idea as to whom they are dealing with. Also. please check out my eBay feedback which is 100% with (980) transactions. Many of those have been muscle cars which I have sold to individuals all over the country as well as Canada. England. Switzerland and Australia.

Some brief history on the Plymouth Belvedere:

An American automobile. the Plymouth Belvedere was produced by Plymouth from 1951 through 1970. Unveiled on March 31. 1951. the 1951 Belvedere was first showcased as a two-door pillarless hardtop. The Belvedere was Plymouth's first vehicle of this design and was built to combat Chevrolet's Bel Air. Not a separate model. the '51 Belvedere was the top-trim Cranbrook and built on that vehicles 118. 5 wheelbase that gave the two-door Belvedere very complimentary proportions. The Belvedere featured the flathead 6-cylinder engine with a displacement of 217. 8 in³ (3. 6 L). with a compression ratio of 7. 00:1 and had output of 97 hp. During its release year. the Plymouth Belvedere sold at $2. 14.

The 1965 Plymouth Belvedere came standard with a six cylinder engine. Additional V8s were available including the 318. 361. 383. and the 426-S Wedge Head. Plymouth even had a special 426 Hemi reserved for professional racers.

For 1965. the Belvedere name was no longer used as a level of trim designation. It was now used on the intermediate size vehicles. The differences between the Belvedere I and Belvedere II were (besides the additional body styles). extra accessories. The Belvedere I came equipped with a heater and defroster.
seat belts in the front. oil filter. and black wall tires. The Belvedere II came standard with all the equipment found on the Belvedere I. plus carpeting. special trim and upholstery. foam cushions. and back-up lights. There were also several design differences to help distinguish the I and the II. The Belvedere II had its name behind the front wheel openings. and there were full-length slanting horizontal moldings with color inserts.

The premium level Belvedere was the Satellite model which was both luxurious and sporty. It had all the equipment found in the Belvedere II. plus bucket seats in the front. full wheel covers. and all-vinyl trim on the two-door hardtop. A few exterior cosmetic features further distinguished it from its siblings.

For your consideration is this outstanding 1965 Plymouth Belvedere II. Be assured that you will be hard pressed to find a nicer one anywhere. I have personally spoken to the builder of this beautiful Mopar who is a wicked nice guy. He is a little older than myself and has been building these early Mopars for years and years and would be considered an expert on these types of builds. He was nice enough to tell me that when he builds them. he is only considering how to make them the best and not what the cost to build. or the selling price might be down the road. This build was no exception. He told me that no corners were cut and only the best parts. rebuilders and workmanship were used when he built this monster. pump-gas streetable. 1965 Belvedere II.

My Comments:  Are you serious! This car is simply mint. A rust free body repainted back to its original light blue exterior with the rare two tone white painted roof and mint original blue interior upholstery. Yes it also has power steering and a real back seat. Drive this 535 horse power monster all day long in 90 degree weather with no overheating and outstanding oil pressure. At 70 mph. you would think you were in a new car as it drives smooth. straight and true with no rattles or weird noises.

Take your entire family to a cruise-in and win your local car show class. Drive to the drags and win your bracket and drive home. Or just go for a Sunday ride with your family and watch the people wave and do the thumbs up. There are simply no excuses with this mint 1965 Belvedere II.

As with all of the cars that I sell on eBay. the easiest way for a prospective buyer to get a sense for my cars is with tons of information and loads of photos and a video. Feel free to ask any questions and I will do my best to answer them and respond ASAP.

Here is a link to my video:

Engine: 440 stroked to 505ci and dynoed (Yes I have the dyno sheets. ) at 535HP and 605 foot pounds of torque. Starts and runs perfect with tons of power. 60-80 pounds of oil pressure. Original radiator with no overheating. Completely detailed.

Transmission: The transmission is a rebuilt 727 Torqueflite with a shift kit and stall converter. Shifts perfectly.

Exterior: Original and outstanding factory two-tone color of light blue lower with rare white painted top. Excellent chrome and trim. Original Body Number stamped on the inside of the radiator support matching the Body Number of the Body Plate. All glass is perfect with no scratches or dings.

Interior: Original style and excellent factory style blue bench seat interior. Perfect dash. headliner. package tray and carpets. Does have front seat belts.

Rear Axle: New 3:55 posi unit with no issues.

Electrical: The Mopar does have line-lock installed for those who might want to use it but I have not. (See the photo of the column shifter. ) All exterior lights are in working order to include the headlights. tail lights. running lights. blinkers. backup lights and the plate light. The tachometer. wipers. horn and gauges are all functional including the clock that keeps perfect time. The stock AM radio is installed and yes it also works. Please note that the Mopar was rebuilt as a heater delete car.

Trunk: The trunk is in excellent condition with a new mat but does not have the spare wheel or jack assembly.

Mechanical: The power steering and brakes to include the emergency brake work correctly. The cars has front disc and rear drum brakes. The suspension has been restored/rebuilt correctly for the monster drivetrain. The Belvedere II starts. shifts and drives down the road great with absolutely no issues.

Undercarriage: The undercarriage is simply outstanding with 3” Flowmaster exhaust that sounds unbelievable but does not have an overpowering sound. Has frame connectors and a driveshaft loop.

Tires and Rims:  Excellent 15” Cragar SS rims with Goodyear Eagle ST P255/60R15's on the back and Prime Well PS850 225/70R15's on the front. All in excellent condition.
