1991 BMW 3-Series

Up for auction is my 1991 318is. Below is an extensive list of work that has been completed while the vehicle has been in my possession. Please read carefully before asking any questions as it may be answered here. All aftermarket parts are listed as well as known issues with the vehicle to provide proper representation and transparency. The vehicle comes with two keys. service records and manuals. I do not have the original window sticker.

There are zero issues with the drivetrain. It does not leak. rattle. misfire or operate poorly. It revs all the way redline smoothly. makes good power and pulls strong. The M42 is notorious for valve train noise. This engine has no problems with that.

EXTERIOR:All original body panels matching vin tags in tact.  New less than 6 Months old complete professional repaint. This is a bare metal respray with OEM Sterling Silver.  Absolutely ZERO RUST. (Battery tray. undercarriage and rear trunk included) This vehicle spent most of its life in CA. There is no rust anywhere!All exterior trim was removed properly for repaint including sunroof. bumpers. lights. seals ect.  New bumper trim. New OEM BMW Roundels New door moulding clips and retaining elements all around Restored front turn signals and rear tail lights No overspray New rock chip on lower rocker panels

AFTERMARKET ITEMS INSTALLED:DINAN tuned Cat-back exhaust system.  JVC head unitBilstien rear shocks and front struts. CILA-JET interior/ exterior avation grade UV protection. (Exterior paint sealer and interior stain and UV protectant) This procedure is common with new luxury vehicle sales. No maintenance (Wax free)

KNOWN COSMETICS:The vinyl interior is not factory.  Originally the car came with cloth interior. (I have the DCS build sheet) Due to the poor condition of the interior it was substituted for black vinyl from another 318is The vehicle needs front lower control arms soon. Under slow speed cornering or driving over speed bumps a slight creaking can be heard from the front end. It is intermittent and subtle. Lower control arm ball joints need replacement. The air conditioning works but does not always blow cold. I may have this addressed before the new owner takes possession of the vehicle.  Slight imperfections on passenger side sport seat (sun cracking) Vinyl seperation on rear seat at the very top where the sun hits it. (see photos)Headliner is in tact with no tears however there is slight discoloration to small areas around the sunroof.
I am open to answering any questions potential buyers may have. Also open to working with buyers to sort out logistics if shipping or long distance driving is needed.
