So. now it is up for a Buy it Now auction.  If it doesn't sell. as is. to someone with a concise plan on what to do next. the time will come for me to restore it.  Now to the car.
Mechanically it runs and drives great!  Stops turns as it should.  All lights work properly. power top goes up and down quickly and smoothly.  Aside from an aftermarket radio. everything is stock inside.  Original owner had the car since new in 1963 until he sold it in 2013.  The people I bought it from used it sparingly until this Summer when I took ownership.  Body needs all the work.  Chrome needs to be redone on the bumpers/trim.  Tons of bondo down either side and paint is beat.  Rust however is at a minimum and the reason I HAD to buy this car when I saw it.  The top is in tatters on the edges and needs to be replaced.  Does not leak as it sits though.  Seats have a few rips but not horrible for a 50 year old convertible!  Rug should be replaced due to fading.  I have 5 matching original hubcaps that go with the car. snow tires in the trunk. original jack and tools. original valve covers. original power top. and ORIGINAL PROTECTO PLATE in the owner protection plan manual!!!
